Preserving Modernism: Post-War Curtain Wall Renewal, co-edited by AYON Studio principal Angel Ayón and Chair of Docomomo International, Uta Potgiesser, debuted at the Façade Tectonics Institute World Congress in Pittsburgh, PA between September 28 and October 2, 2026.
The publication was featured as part of the event's Book Nook, a showcase of recent prominent publications covering facade design, enclosure engineering, sustainability, and building technology. The book was presented alongside Reglazing Modernism: Intervention Strategies for 20th Century Icons, the previous publication co-authored by Angel Ayón and Uta Pottgiesser.
